hey there! my name is liana mei and I've been making pottery since 2021 after moving from Boston to Seattle and finding so much inspiration in the beauty of both the pacific northwest and the richness of the local artist communities.
I find the process of pottery so grounding and therapeutic. I am at-ease when my hands are covered in clay, and I'm locked into the rhythm of the wheel. My pottery aims to share that experience with you and evoke the same feeling of peace, beautiful simplicity, and organic flows. I hope my art inspires you and adds joy to your daily routines.

This summer I started making small magnets. You may have seen my blueberry magnets at the Bellevue Farmer's Market. Recently I've started combing my underglaze styles/processes with magnets and have been making hand-painted tile magnets evoking similarities to portuguese tiles.
